According to Life & Style, he snagged the scoop of the century—that Jennifer Aniston is happy! “She told me that she dates a lot,” he tells the mag. “And just makes sure not to go anywhere public.” It’s not hard to believe, considering A) Jennifer Aniston is rich, famous, funny and hot, and B) not every guy who gets to date such a woman is as obnoxious as John Mayer about it.
But did Perez get any buzz on the down low that wasn’t in Aniston’s “revealing”People interview? Well, it turns out she doesn’t hate Angelina Jolie that much! “Jen said, ‘Look, that was so long ago, and we’ve moved on and we’re all adults,’” he says. “I believe what she has to say. I think she really has moved on.” Shame he couldn’t squeeze some real dirt out of her—maybe a good line about how it was when her divorce from Brad Pitt wasn’t “so long ago.” Or at least something unflattering about Mr. Mayer—even if she’s as well-adjusted as she claims, she has to have a bone to pick with that guy.
